HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for representing Human Resources in the Winona Manufacturing facility by  leading training initiatives, facilitating the hiring process and fielding policy and procedure questions.  This position also acts as a liaison between the Winona facility and the Lindbergh office.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Recruitment

·         Participate in recruitment effort for exempt and nonexempt personnel by managing advertising (job boards, newspaper, radio etc.) and collection of applications using the applicant tracking system.

·         Facilitate the LSB hiring process ensuring all forms are completed and signed off on.

·         Coordinate the use of temporary associates through staffing agencies.

·         Represent Landscape Brands at selected job fairs.

Training & Development

·         Assist in organizational training and development efforts.

·         Conduct new associate orientations.

·         Assist in administration of compensation program; help to monitor performance appraisal process and track paperwork.

Payroll and Benefits

·         Maintain Human Resource Information System records and compile reports from database as needed.

·         Facilitate new hire benefits training.

·         Support benefits broker in presenting annual enrollment, collecting paperwork, answering questions.

 

 

Other

·         Assist department in carrying out various human resources programs and initiatives for the Winona facility.

·         Help to maintain company organizational charts and employee directory.

·         Assist in exit interview process.

·         Other duties as assigned

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

 

This position requires a high school diploma, or equivalent, plus 1 year of experience.  Bachelor’s degree and human resource experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

·         Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook and Excel
