We are currently seeking HVAC Service Technicians for the Raleigh and Durham territories.
Summary
Responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC systems utilizing knowledge of refrigeration theory, electrical schematics, pneumatic and electronic control systems, pipe fitting, welding and brazing and mechanical layouts.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following. Other functions may be assigned.
· Responsible for servicing product and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction
· Performs repairs, overhauls, and start-ups of commercial HVAC systems
· Uses a variety of hand tools, following blueprints, wiring diagrams, piping schemes or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units
· Uses power tools and computers
· Identifies, analyzes, diagnoses, and repairs systems and products at customer's location
· Performs preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers
· Prepares for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials and coordinating on-site work, as necessary.
· Inspects vehicles by checking vehicle condition and literature supplies
· Maintains vehicles by keeping records of service manuals, scheduling, and completing repairs and maintenance service
· Documents work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files.
· Keeps current all manufacturers products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair
· Provides technical support to customers
· Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required
Education and/or Experience
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning; and 5+ years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Valid driver's license
EPA Approved Universal Technician Certification
License preferred (e.g., HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer, etc.)
