OVERVIEW:
Building Controls & Services is a full service facilities management company specializing in the installation and service of building automation systems, control systems integration, energy performance contracting, building commissioning, and HVAC systems installation and maintenance. PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
Manage control system installation projects within cost estimates and within time schedule, and to the customer’s satisfaction.
Develop plans to accomplish expected results and meet commitments.
Oversee field installation of controls and related software and hardware.
Participate in regular project meetings to coordinate field installation with other contractors.
Complete assignments within estimated time allotted.
Provide leadership to others in the organization.
Verify that the HVAC and control systems are working correctly and efficiently at project close out.
Insure customers are trained on the operation of the controls.
Coordinate Contractor, Subcontractor, Owner and Engineering issues.
Direct the Application engineering, material procurement, software, and system start-up.
Generate monthly project billings.
Prepare punch lists, O&M, As Builts and all close out paperwork in a timely fashion.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Thorough knowledge of HVAC systems, the theory of component operation and overall system interaction.
Working knowledge of building control systems as applied to HVAC equipment to include direct digital control strategies.
Strong interpersonal skills
Preferred two (2) year AAS degree in mechanical or electrical field.
Minimum five (5) years experience with our industry.
