HVAC Field Installation Operations Manager

About the Job

What you will do

Under general direction, develops and implements strategies and processes to meet the objectives of the BSNA conventional and mechanical projects business. Executes plans to meet objectives for profitability growth, market penetration, employee development and customer satisfaction.

How you will do it

1. Identify and prioritize low performing markets based on HVAC dashboards.
2. Work with AIM/HVAC IM in underperforming markets to establish goals, develop improvement plans, and track results.
3. Provide support, direction and coaching to HVAC IMs at AIMs request.
4. Support for underperforming Mechanical Services Projects Teams
5. Provide support on customer satisfaction issues.
6. Conduit for getting problems to appropriate people in MKE.
7. Provide sales management support including reducing cost or identify true cost
8. Assist in evaluating and hiring key positions (AIMs/HVAC IMs) Assist in deploying Installation tools, and processes, review existing processes
9. Share best practices between areas
10. Ensure adherence to and provide coaching on corporate process:
   1. Backlog Reviews
   2. Cash Management
   3. Franchise Model
   4. Support training on tools, procedures and processes
   5. Subcontractor Utilization
   6. Securing change orders
   7. Visit projects, customers and employees to provide objective insight into strengths, weakness, opportunities and threats
   8. Support Safety Program










What we look for
Required
• Bachelors degree in engineering, MBA preferred.
• Eight to ten years’ experience in construction industry including three to five years of project management experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of buildings and company products and services.
