HVAC Mobile Engineer

Description:
We are searching for an experience HVAC engineer to travel and support multiple sites for CB Richard Ellis in the Lubbock and Amarillo, TX areas!



The engineer will be responsible for performing HVAC, plumbing, carpentry and minor electrical repair and maintenance services for multiple locations within a geographic area or facility.



Perform assignments in the installation, repair, alteration and maintenance of facility systems, including HVAC, carpentry, plumbing and minor electrical to include both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks



Report and communicate on a daily basis all work activity via PDA devices or paperwork



Assess and diagnose required repairs, both for estimated cost and vendor responsibility – escalation requirements and vendor responsibility are dictated by each client and may differ



Procure all material in a timely manner to meet client service level agreements for scheduled completion dates



Possess competent knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used in facility and ground maintenance



Respond immediately to emergency situations and customer concerns



Perform all work to industry standards and maintain a professional manner and appearance at all times



Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives as related to building operations and practice safe work habits

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High School Diploma or GED equivalent



At least 3 or more years of experience supporting, troubleshooting and repairing HVAC components and systems, in addition to electrical systems (lighting, generators, etc.)



Technical, vocational or on-the-job training in at least one of the following areas: HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry or engine repair OR any similar combination of education and experience



Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record with periodic checks



Possess and maintain a universal CFC certification



Possess and maintain all required local, state or jurisdictional licenses and/or permits required to perform the above work



Ability to effectively present information to co-workers and/or supervisors on a one-on-one basis.



Requires some knowledge of financial terms and principles.



Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.



Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service



Follows specific standardized procedures to achieve set results and deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause minimal impact to immediate co-workers and supervisor.
