Hawthorn Heating & Air Conditioning, a Nicor Services company, located in Wauconda, IL, has been a leading provider of heating, air conditioning service, repair and replacement in the north and far northwest suburbs since 1986.

HVAC Service Technicians:

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems for residential and light commercial customers.
  
• Promote commercial service agreements to ensure efficient, safe equipment with less costly breakdowns.
  
• Assist other technicians with questions about repairs to ensure quality work and customer satisfaction.
  
• Teach other technicians the proper clean & check procedures and minor repairs.
  
• Respond to a problem call with a professional attitude to correct a customer complaint to total customer satisfaction.
  
• Communicate any concerns regarding clean & check as repair work.
  
• Be concise and precise when documenting a complaint call to ensure accurate information is recorded.
  
• Promote a team effort in following procedures to be more organized in the field.

Position Requirements:

• EPA Certification - either Type I & Type II or Universal
  
• High School Diploma or GED
  
• At least 6 years of HVAC experience
  
• Good communication and customer service skills
  
• A valid driver's license with a good driving record
