HVAC Technician (2nd or 3rd shift)
About the Job
- HVAC Technician - Needed for 2nd or 3rd shift. Candidate will be expected to respond to daily preventive and/or corrective work orders. Maintain and perform corrective and preventive maintenance on controls, equipment normally associated with commercial buildings to include HVAC, mechanical, electrical, boiler, chiller, and plumbing repairs as directed, adjust and calibrate equipment when necessary. Perform minor electrical and pipefitting repairs to HVAC systems. Demonstrate skills to initiate and complete repairs and assignments in a timely professional manner. Work with existing staff, vendors and contractors as required to complete work orders to trade standards. Respond to complaints regarding HVAC equipment and adjust or repair where necessary. Maintain inventory control, quality assurance and communicating / resolving concerns promptly and effectively. Maintain all necessary documentation on equipment.
Qualifications: This full time position requires a graduate of a technical or trade school and a Class A Engineering license. HVAC experience with universal CFC a plus. Minimum of 5+ years experience in the industry, ability to read schematics, ability to work independently without supervision and interact effectively at all levels. Applicant must pass a drug screening test and background check.
