Georgia Tech Research Institute in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking a hardware design engineer with a broad background in electronics. Candidate would assist in the development of such devices as smart antennas, radar systems, remote sensing, and software defined radios. Candidate should have a strong background in hardware design, in particular digital control (hardware and firmware design with microcontrollers and/or FPGAs) but also with an interest in analog electronics. Experience with an electronics CAD system is desired, experience with Mentor PADS Suite is a plus. Experience with RF circuits is a plus but not required. Work will primarily consist of system level design, firmware programming, circuit design, and board layout. Secondary roles could include developing circuit models or signal processing. Bachelors or Masters plus 2-10 yrs. Need to be able to get security clearance.
