Hardware, Digital Signal Processing, and Embedded Processor Design Engineer

Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA), is actively seeking a Hardware, Digital Signal Processing, and Embedded Processor Design Engineer with superior abilities in the fields of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Candidates should have an MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering and 5 years of relevant work experience. We are looking for individuals who have excellent communication and writing skills, and the ability to work independently, under direct supervision and as part of a team. The work environment consists of multiple laboratories, testing facilities, and an office.

Duties and Responsibilities: Develop analog and digital electronic systems for a variety of projects including high speed data acquisition, optical, and self contained sensor systems. Responsible for circuit design, software, component and system integration, and overseeing the product development cycle.

Position Requirements: MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering and 5 years industry experience or equivalent. Proficiency in analog and digital circuit design and layout, embedded microprocessors, and digital signal processing. Candidate will need to have excellent communication and writing skills, and the ability to work independently or under direct supervision.

Position requires the ability to obtain and retain a security clearance.
