Hiring staff! The Heartland National TB Center (HNTC) is a tuberculosis training and medical consultation project located at the Texas Center For Infectious Disease in San Antonio, Texas. Staff of the HNTC are employees of the UT Health Science Center at Tyler, a component of the UT System.
Responsibilities: performs duties to plan, develop, coordinate, participate in and evaluate all aspects of education and training provided by the Center including educational design, curriculum development, and development of goals, objectives, and content; identifies educational needs and target audiences; travels to conduct presentations/workshops; participates in workgroups/planning committees; prepares narrative/statistical reports and writes articles; candidate will be required to travel throughout the HNTC region and nation. Bachelor’s degree with 5 years experience in related duties. Experience in lieu of education may be substituted. Three years experience in initiating health care based education, educational design and curriculum development. Masters in health education or public health preferred. CHES certification preferred.
