If you have experience as a nurse or similar healthcare experience, this role will give you the opportunity to help government-sponsored healthcare plans recover billions of dollars of overpayments.
HMS is an industry leader in the coordination of program integrity and benefits services for government healthcare programs. We have partnered with more than 45 Medicaid agencies, other state health programs, and more than 50 government-sponsored healthcare plans to help them recover billions of dollars, and save billions more through cost avoidance.
With billions of dollars at stake, there is a strong emphasis among policy leaders (and the voting public) on cost containment and payment accuracy. Not only will you be able to "make your mark" as this program evolves, but you'll also become part of our Program Integrity division, a product line driven by an aggressive growth strategy.
Joining our newly created Audit team, you will manage a variety of desk-based audits with nursing homes and other long term care providers, identifying inefficiencies and reporting the results to management.
We're hiring now with an eye on the future, looking for impact players who can grow with us. You will be well positioned to transition into an Analyst role and then possibly move into Auditing, depending on your ambition and aptitude.
If you have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education & experience (we welcome recent grads) and/or 0-2 years of nursing, LTC or similar healthcare background (we are willing to train the right individual) we invite you to read more and apply.
