Current Need

Clinical/Business Analyst to provide functional design specific to our Horizon Ambulatory suite of products.

Position Description

Plans, conducts, and directs the analysis of business problems to be solved with automated systems. Partners with users to identify, evaluate, and develop systems and procedures which are cost effective and meet user requirements. May plan and execute unit, integration, and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems. May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.

Additional Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of ambulatory healthcare setting required. Must be familiar with terminology and workflows specific to an ambulatory clinic. Ideal candidate would be a medically skilled professional (nurse, PA, technician) who also has informatics background. Candidate needs to be able to understand end-user requirements and be able to communicate these requirements to technical employees who may have no medical knowledge. Excellent communication and writing skills are essential. Candidate should be detail-oriented.

Minimum Requirements

4+ years experience in business analysis, requirements definition, building systems solutions and deployment of business requirements to information systems.

Education

4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
