Staffmark, currently is seeking to find several qualified candidates with Healthcare Business Office Experience. Medical Collectors, Medical Billers, Medical Coders, Medical Insurance Verification, Medical Front Office Professionals.
Ideal candidates will have a MINIMUM of 6+ months of work experience in a large central billing office or large physician practice. Candidates with only school experience and no actual work knowledge will not be considered.
Medical Collectors: 6+ months experience making outbound phone calls of 35-60 calls per day calling insurance companies to check status of claims. Medicare, Sooner Care, Managed Care and private pay collections experience a must.
Medical Biller: 6+ months experience reviewing and processing bills to submit off to the insurance companies or private pay patients. ICD-9 & CPT Coding knowledge is a huge plus. Candidate must be use to a high volume of patient charts processing 20-40 charts per day. Knowledge of electronic billing and clean claim scrubing a HUGE plus.
Medical Coder: 6+ months experience reviewing patient charts and coding down superbills and charge sheets. Must have strong knowledge of ICD-9 & CPT Coding and be able to code down to the final diget. Hospital patient coding a huge plus.
Medical Insurance Verification: 6+ months experience calling insurance companies to verify medical coverage for patients. High volume of 50+ calls per day is a huge plus!
Medical Front Office Professionals: 6+ months experience working at a large doctors office checking patients in and out, pulling patient charts, checking insurance verification, collecting co-payments, processing patient charts and working with the billing department, nurse and doctor staff to ensure that all patient records and ICD-9 and CPT codes are correct and accurate.
