A leading private foundation devoted to healthcare information technology policy seeks an individual with strong healthcare IT implementation experience, and with excellent writing, editing and oral communication skills. This person will manage projects for an active and widely recognized initiative that addresses emerging national challenges in personal health technology and their relevance to health policy. Such projects typically involve convening and supporting in-person and virtual collaborations with diverse professional, industry, government and public interest stakeholders, drafting and editing documents, and ensuring delivery of timely, high-quality reports, white papers and presentations.   

Qualifications:

•Bachelor's degree and minimum three years experience in healthcare information technology. Background could be in public health/government, public or private research and in payer or provider healthcare.

•Knowledge of healthcare IT implementation and terminology; knowledge of healthcare IT policy issues desirable.

•Demonstrated written, oral and visual (PowerPoint, Web templates, diagrams, etc.) communication skills. Ability to analyze and summarize complex technology documents. (Candidates will be required to take a writing and editing test.)

•Ability to manage projects both independently and in cooperation with colleagues.

•Self-starter with excellent presentation skills.

•Willingness to travel occasionally.
