Healthcare Program Manager / 1566

Position Description:

The Program Manager directs the programs, product implementations, reporting functions and staffing for the APS Columbus Service Center.

•Develops and maintains Service Center procedures and practices for accomplishing departmental goals and objectives, including quality initiatives, implementations, training and staffing. Manages program coordination, scheduling, work plan management, status reporting and issue resolution tracking for the Service Center Operations.
•Develops and monitors critical programmatic elements including call center, internal and client facing reports. Routinely collects data, reports performance and suggests process improvements to the ED.
•Resolves departmental issues or delegates to the appropriate personnel or staff members for prompt resolution.
•Serves as a conduit between Ohio center and critical partners throughout APS, and scans for best practices throughout the organization that would support the Ohio center.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in a business field is required. Master's degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE:
•Minimum of 5 years experience in healthcare field.
•Experience in management through metrics is required.
•Experience in application of advanced processes to design and lead strategic projects.
•Experience in implementations related to new business.
•Knowledge of customer service and customer service interaction.
•Knowledge of total health management business including UM, CM and DM preferred.
•Ability to analyze and design business processes and strategies as applied in the healthcare industry. i.e. call flow design, workflow, data flow.
•Ability to implement internal auditing functions to identify and correct process errors that impact efficient operations.
•Strong organizational, analytical, and financial skills.
•Ability to perform complex data and reporting analysis.
•Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications
•Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
