Healthcare Recruiter

Virtua Health has an immediate need for an experienced Healthcare recruiter at our
Mt. Holly Memorial Hospital. In this role you will be responsible for selecting and recruiting top talent for the Mt. Holly Rehabilitation / Long Term Care Center. Specifically you will be responsible for recruiting RNs, LPNs, Nursing Assistants, MSTs, Nursing faculty and Pharmacy professionals.

Requirements
• 5 + years of Recruiting experience required, HR Generalist exp a plus.
• 2+ years of Recent Experience Recruiting Nursing or Healthcare professionals.
• BS Degree in HR or related field required
• Must have applicant tracking experience, Peoplesoft exp is preferred
• Ability to handle Req load of 35-50 open Full time, part time, per diem positions
• Experience in building pipeline of candidates to minimize the length of time to fill positions
• Proficiency in web based recruitment strategies, social networking systems and Internet mining techniques
• Knowledge and effective use of behavioral interview methodology strongly preferred.
• Must possess a high level of confidentiality, excellent communication skills and good time management skills.
• Must have excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills with ability to prioritize work in a fast paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.


Responsibilities
• Manage the life cycle of recruiting talent (requisition, interviewing, etc… to new hire orientation) and working closely with internal clients to understand their recruitment needs.
• Collaborate with Manager and/or hiring managers to develop and implement recruiting plans to source appropriate candidates for positions. (cold calling, internet, advertising, attending career fairs/Open Houses, relationship marketing communications, networking, etc.)
• Expected to achieve hiring goals set by clients/Manager and to present/develop status reports consistently as directed.
• Acts as point of contact for HR and Operations Administration regarding recruitment activity in assigned division.
• Assess staffing needs and manage requisitions for assigned departments.  Facilitate the posting and hiring processes for hiring managers and distributed/coordinate test assessments as needed.
• Conduct screenings and interviews to evaluate applicants as candidates for Virtua’s “Best People.”  Coordinate interview scheduling with all appropriate parties.
• Partner with Human Resources departments to build relationships with designated hiring managers to provide guidance and counsel to hire “The Best People.”
• Complete data entry and collection in a timely and accurate manner.  Track individual applicant activity.
• Facilitate new hire processing to include completing the necessary paperwork, background investigation, pre-employment physical and orientation scheduling.
• Provide guidance, counsel and education to the internal and external Virtua community about health care careers through job fairs, career days, advertising, brochures, and individual counseling.
