Astrum Hearing Solutions’ growth is igniting!  We are looking for an Audiologist / Hearing Aid Dispenser / Hearing Instrument Specialist to join our team!


This is an extraordinary opportunity for you to attain your own Practice – without the interruption of the administrative, financial, real estate and HR duties of a self-run practice! Not only does Astrum deal with these functions (while you truly help people reconnect with their life!), but Astrum’s Hearing Aid Centers are enclosed in nationally recognized retail stores where an overabundance of customers are in route daily right to your door!


As Astrum’s Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing customer care through comprehensive assessment, diagnostics and appropriate treatment of auditory disorders. The Audiology Professional provides ongoing audiology management services including: selection, fitting, dispensing, verification, validation and monitoring of amplification and other assistive devices, as well as maintaining all clinical documentation specified by Astrum. The Audiology Professional sells hearing aids, accessories, special products and/or any other product available through Astrum to achieve established goals. You will support, demonstrate and assure a world-class customer experience in every interaction.


Astrum Hearing Solution’s Audiology Professional will conduct hearing evaluations; provide customer education on hearing, hearing solutions and post-sale maintenance of hearing solutions;  provide product consultation; provide hearing aid fitting and dispensing;  place orders for products and accessories, as needed; provide after care support and service; perform prospecting, appointment setting, health fairs and other activities necessary to achieve sales goals.   You will also back up front office roles, including receiving incoming calls and answering general inquiries (or refer to appropriate party); work with retail staff, group and regional managers, and corporate support staff to resolve customer or business issues; apply Astrum’s clinical and non-clinical procedures, processes and systems and recommend improvements, as necessary;  and complete requirements necessary to obtain and maintain state/federal hearing aid dispensing license along with completing product/technical/business training provided by Company.   Astrum’s Audiology Professional will also, when assigned, assist with training and supervision of other associates; conduct all activities in compliance with Astrum’s procedures and policy, as well as state and federal guidelines and regulations; provide assistance for special projects.; participate in community programs to build brand awareness and generate customer leads; document sales, service, deliveries, and prospecting along with  other duties as assigned to meet customer or business needs.  


This position offers a very lucrative base salary plus a no cap incentive plan!  Astrum also offers an array of benefits, including covering your yearly licensing costs and providing you with 15 CEUs per year!


Requirements:


Requires an Audiology degree accepted by the State in which you are hired OR


Hearing Aid Dispenser/Hearing Instrument Specialist requires a Dispensing license valid for practice in the State in which you are hired


Audiologists and Hearing Aid Dispensers must meet State-mandated requirements to maintain audiology licensing/certification


Proficiency in use of audiology systems and tools


Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications


Proficiency in use of the internet, appropriate to the position


Excellent interpersonal skills that allow successful working relationships with a wide range of patients, colleagues, and vendors. These skills include, but are not limited to, persuasive speaking and writing, active listening and empathy.


Must be able to read, analyze and interpret communications
