We are looking for Hedge Fund Accountants for our Harrison, NY (Westchester) location.

Responsibilities Include:

• Reconciling the funds cash to outside sources
• Reconciling the funds positions/securities to outside sources
• Researching internal differences between the accounting and trade entry systems
• Pricing the fund portfolios
• Analyzing funds performance on a daily and monthly basis
• Issuing profit and loss statements on a daily basis
• Accurate calculation of fund net asset values and investor accounting
• Posting accounting entries to ledger
• Performing Month end close processes/financial statement preparation
• Working with various products including equities, bonds, swaps, options, FX, mortgages, financing and futures Serving as liaison between clients and prime brokers/counterparties
• Working with auditors to finalize fund year end financial statements
• Working with fund types including Stand-Alone, Master-Feeder, Fun of Funds, Mutual Funds, Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) and Private Equity

Skills and Knowledge Desired:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field
• 5+ years experience in one of the following areas: Investment Accounting, Product Controller, Administrator, or Hedge Fund
• Prior experience with various products; for example equities, fixed income, repurchase agreements, futures, FX, Mortgages, options and working knowledge of Corporate Actions
