As a Shareholder Services Assistant Vice President, for JPMorgan Hedge Fund Services, you will lead a team of account managers. This team will service multiple clients and will be responsible for all aspects of servicing their shareholders. You will report to the Operations Manager / VP.
Delivery of Superior Quality Service to client base;
- Ensure you and your team:
- takes responsibility and completes assigned tasks accurately and within appropriate timeframes.

- Project Management - responsibility for and active involvement in projects within your team and the Shareholder Services platform.

Project Knowledge and Development;
- Workflow enhancement skills - responsibility for and active involvement in creating and enhancing process workflows and staff procedures.
- Business Analytical skills - includes report analysis and development, business requirement documentation (BRD) and submission and system implementation and development.
- System development skills - functional enhancement knowledge of currently used TA platforms and applications.

- Focuses on accountability, action and outcomes to ensure solutions meet and/or exceed client needs.
- Proactively demonstrates customer focus by handling varied levels/ complexities of client contacts and issues.
- Display comprehensive knowledge of the established practices, processes and procedures within the Shareholder Services Group and of all Shareholder Services systems; of all client and client products serviced by your team and the Shareholder Service department; of Hedge Funds and the Financial Services industry.
- Escalate and communicate issues, as necessary.
- Display initiative and enterprise by identifying issues and deficiencies within the work practices of the Shareholder Services platform - formulate proposals to streamline and implement as required.
Excellence in Team Focus;
- Support drive and influence the goals and strategies of the team by taking initiative, engaging others, expressing ideas and effectively and professionally representing the Shareholder Services department with all divisions of JPMT and external parties. .

- Provide training plans for new team members and provide ongoing support.
- Display flexibility and a willingness to accept changes in the Shareholder Services Platform.
- Deputize for the department supervisor when required.
Shareholder Services
The Shareholder Services AVP is expected to be proficient in the following:
- Ensure you and your team:
- displays accurate trade processing and reporting proficiencies in accordance with the established work practices and procedures of the Shareholder Services Group.
- displays accurate trade review proficiencies in accordance with the established work practices and procedures of the Shareholder Services Group.
- displays accurate money movement, reconciliation and reporting proficiencies in accordance with the established work practices and procedures of the Shareholder Services Group.
- carries out Anti-Money laundering (AML) checks whilst displaying a comprehensive knowledge of the established practices, processes and procedures of JPMT including in-depth industry awareness.
- displays accurate client reporting proficiencies in accordance with the established work practices and procedures of the Shareholder Services Group.
Requirements:
Professional qualification and/or Bachelors Degree in Business Studies and/or Accounting and/or Finance designation
- 6+ years relevant experience in hedge or mutual fund administration.
- Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office Applications.
- Multi-lingual (beneficial but NOT required)
