Duties: Prepares finished intelligence by planning, collecting, and evaluating data and information; disseminating reports and briefings.
* Individual will provide technical program management, logistic and other initiatives for all current and future JAMS systems to include JAGM, Hellfire Family of Missiles, Longbow, HYDRA rocket, Viper Strike and UAV future smart weapons. Provides expert analytical and/or scientific solutions for highly complex technical/scientific matters. May analyze program activities, such as acquisition program planning, program “should cost” analyses, financial management, cost analysis, and other tasks related to government programs, weapon systems, or similar complex programs. Will work in support of data collection for JAMS program and oversee efforts of program office. May serve as an Afghan lead. *Plans data collection by studying intended uses of intelligence; analyzing situational hypotheses; determining information requirements; identifying available data and information sources; cultivating new data and information sources; preparing data and information collection strategies.
* Integrates information by establishing criteria for evaluating data and information; building analytic and evaluative models; collating, analyzing, evaluating, and linking data and information; completing time-line analyses; detecting patterns; resolving contradictions; assessing data and information importance, reliability, validity, and relevance.
* Disseminates data collection by providing reports, briefings, announcements, messages, consolidations, presentations, and testimony; answering questions; providing additional information requested.
* Maintains databases by entering, updating, cross-referencing, evaluating, and purging data; establishing profiles.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required in engineering, science or other technical field preferred. Six years of related experience or 10 years experience in lieu of degree. Experience in aviation field preferred. Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Must be willing to deploy to Afghanistan.
