The Weston Group is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, go-getter to do Helpdesk Support for a technology solutions company that specializes in healthcare IT consulting. Answer support calls, setup workstations, deploy new desktops and go to client sites to provide technical support. Provide support at client locations (50% local area driving/travel). Provide technical support for:
• Hardware Troubleshooting and Repair
• Printer Installs/Queue set-up
• Systems maintenance (software updates, backup, etc.)
• Create and maintain installation/procedure documentation
• Fax machines
• Blackberrys/Palms/Treos and Ipods
• Help install print client workflow setup.
• Internet TCP/IP and web technology,
• Virus and Spy ware protection Software,
• Install and support Windows operating system and business applications
• Experience with trouble-ticket tracking application
• Quote and Ordering Technical Machines and peripherals
• Experience with server maintenance, VoIP systems, and programming
Candidate(s) MUST be able to remotely troubleshoot all issues or escalate; Qualified candidates must be either A+ (2003 or later curriculum) or MCDST (Microsoft Certified Desktop Technician) Certified and be familiar with TCP/IP troubleshooting in a networked environment. Must have experience with Office Suite 2000/2003; Vista and Office/Outlook 2007 skills are a huge plus. Valid Driver License is required. Prefer local area candidates; relocation/per diem will NOT be provided
