Help Desk Support

We are looking for a Help Desk Support person to join our team in San Diego, CA who will provide support to TORIS end users on a variety of issues to include proper operation, data replication, password resets and NIAPS server operation using the Global Distance Support Center trouble call process. Proactive support in monitoring ship data replication to shore side servers. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems with all TORIS applications, Tumbleweed replication and NIAPS. Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support. Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution. Conducts TECHAM troubleshooting as well as shipboard visits. Participates in system upgrade quality assurance testing as required.  Execute other requirements as directed.

Required Experience

Requires a bachelors degree or equivalent in any discipline and/or 5-7 years of experience at an Afloat Training Group as well as significant U.S.Navy surface ship training experience. Familiar with ATG, Shiptrain, and the Surface Force Training Manual. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
