An Accounting Company is looking to increase their team with an experienced Accountant.  The successful candidate will handle full accounting/bookkeeping responsibilities for various companies all over Columbus.      

Essential Functions Include:

• Process account payable and receivables
• Bank reconciliation
• Payroll and payroll taxes
• Produce and audit financial statements
• Process Quarterly and Annual tax returns
• Reconcile the general ledgers for month end closing
• Post invoices and checks
• Run checks for payment

Qualifications include:

• Requires 5+ years accounting experience
• Proficient with QuickBooks.  Experience with Peachtree would be a plus
• Strong customer service/client relationship building skills
• Must be a problem solver and client driven
• Professional presentation
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
