Manpower Business Solutions, in partnership with our client AIR-serv, is seeking a full time permanent Help Desk Technician. As a Help Desk Tech, you will help guide end users with the proper use of the company's applications in order to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and to minimize the escalation of problems.

Duties

Responsible for support calls coming in to the Help Desk

First responder for resolving alerts

Build productive partnerships with the end users

Take ownership of the escalated issues and coordinates with appropriate resources to resolve them in a timely manner

Maintain a written general knowledge of all issues and their resolutions

Ensure all issues are communicated promptly and accurately to the appropriate people

Take pro-active action against data network elements requiring attention, to include trouble and change ticket generation, escalation and submission of outage notifications

Track, analyze and report on incidents and outage conditions

Provide outstanding level of customer service

Assist with projects and other tasks, as assigned, which are required to support the success of Technical Operations Support

This is a 10am-7pm shift Monday through Friday. In addition, candidate must be

Available for rotating night/weekend shift work

Available for 24-hour on call support on a rotating or emergency basis

Able to report to work in inclement weather

2-5 years of experience in the following areas:

providing technical support for a client/server application

logging into servers remotely

remote Administration Tools

working with Server Operating Systems

MS Office Suite

Additionally, 2-5 years of working knowledge of Windows networks and Windows XP/server 2003

Ideal Qualifications

Experience with Server Virtualization (VMWare) and/or CITRIX

Experience with Telecom support and diagnostics

MCSE and other applicable Certifications

4-year college degree
