To help us continue driving their business forward, our client is in search of an experienced Help Desk Analyst at their San Antonio, TX location.  APPLY TODAY, if your background includes:

Position Description:

Provide support services to internal departments and external customers. This includes sorting a wide range of hardware, networks, servers and internal/external software through various organizations within the company. This may include but is not limited to the following:

·        First level support of all inbound calls

·        Accurate logging, ticketing, and tracking of all calls

·        Accurate, timely, and professional resolution on all supported issues

·        Timely and professional follow up on all calls

·        Quick identification and control of high priority issues

·        Accurate escalation of tickets per departmental procedures

·        Efficient and accurate resolution of all assigned tickets

 

Required Skills:

  • Excellent communication, customer service, time management, conflict resolution, and problem determination/resolution skills
  • Technical expertise in the areas of HW/SW, Win XP, MS Outlook/Office, internet technology, VPN/remote access, printers, account administration, and wireless networking technology
  • Strong critical thinking skills that facilitate expedient problem solving
  • Minimum one to two years recent Help Desk experience Some formal college education

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Help Desk Institute and other relevant certifications
  • Familiarity with ITIL
  • Customer Service training
  • A.S./A.A. in a computer-related field of study or equivalent experience

 

Additional Skills:

            Customer Service

            Remote Networking, VPN, etc

            Remedy is preferred
