SHIFT - Mon/Fri - 8-5 NEED TO BE A VERY RELIABLE EMPLOYEE!
Tech Support - will supply phone support to end users to help resolve PC/laptop software and operating system issues for one of the worlds leading life insurance and pension groups. Will help with upgrades and installs of software and some hardware if needed. Will be working in a high volume call center which normally receives over 380000 calls a year for support. Currently this group supports 15k users. Will be supporting multiple users in a mainframe and client server environment. Will be using Remedy to log calls. Must provide excellent customer support and service. Candidates must possess a strong working knowledge in one of these areas: Windows XP, 2000, 2003 /NT - MS OFFICE SUITE (Office 2007). Note: Consultant will be trained on all systems as appropriate. Required Skills:
AS degree, A+, MCSE, or MCDST certification preferred. Must be experienced supporting software and operating systems with a strong knowledge of Windows 95/ Windows NT/ 2000, 2003, and XP with experience with the MS Office suite. (Priority with 2000/2003 and XP - Word, Excel, and Power Point) Looking for experience with both PC''s and laptops. Looking for 2+ years of experience in a large call center support role. Must posses experience in a fast-paced high volume call center and have previous experience with Remedy. Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to multitask. Will also consider individuals that have experience supporting a mainframe environment and or solid networking skills. Must have a solid troubleshooting background. Must be able to pick up on new things. This position will also be in a high paced learning environment. Must have excellent customer service skills with great attention to detail. Any experience supporting blackberry or PDA''s would prove to be helpful.
