	High Power (10kW+) Switch Mode Power Supply Design Engineer - High Tech & Green Energy Focused We are seeking a technical lead with high power (10 kW+) switch mode power design experience to join our engineering staff. Responsibilities: Direct and perform research, design, development, testing and documentation of products and systems Work with end customers to understand systems/equipment requirements Mentor engineers and other internal staff Develop engineering and technical product road maps Requirements: MS Electrical Engineering required; PhD desired 10+ years experience with high power (10 kW+) straight or pulsed DC power supply design Hands on experience and understanding of thermal management, magnetics design, power semiconductors, and their applications Understanding of analog and digital control strategies Experience interacting with customers to define architecture and product requirements Experience with simulation tools (MATLAB, Simulink, Saber preferred) Experience with thermal analysis, mechanical packing, and EMC Experience with Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEAs), reliability calculations, etc. Some international travel required (<15%)
