We have an excellent ONE YEAR contract opportunity for a Histologist / Histology Technician with a leading pharmaceutical company!

Responsibilities

·         Candidate will support a histology/immunohistochemistry (IHC) group in the analysis of tissue-based biomarkers in preclinical models and human clinical samples.

·         Participate in all aspects of histology-related work supporting multiple drug development programs.

·         Cutting edge technology and interdisciplinary teams are wonderful benefits to this fast paced environment.

·         Responsibilities will include:

o        routine staining

o        immunohistochemistry

o        data analysis

o        presentation

Qualifications

·         BS degree is Biology or related science degree with 3+ years of directly related histology experience

·         Familiarity with automated staining and immunostaining equipment is desirable

·         Candidates with experience in assay development/validation and a strong interest in implementing new technologies for multiplexing, quantitation and digital imaging technologies are preferred

·         Candidates must possess strong communication skills
