Mercy is a community of professionals serving people's health care needs through hospitals, physician practices, and a variety of outpatient locations and services in the Midwest. Mercy also has outreach ministries in Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas. We are driven by a common mission begun by the Sisters of Mercy who founded our ministry. Histology Technician

Facility: St. John's Mercy Medical Center Department: Anatomic Pathology Histology Technician position available part-time, weekends in Anatomic Pathology. One weekend day per week-8 hour shift, flexible start time (Saturday or Sunday). Prepares and stains tissue sections from surgical or autopsy materials for microscopic study and interpretation. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and mercy service standards. Routine Histology work including cutting and embedding.
