At Angell, our Histologist will work collaboratively with our world renowned veterinary staff to provide Angell clientele with excellent clinical and customer services. Prepare tissues for examination by pathologists and support all department protocols so that daily operations, workflow and specimen processing is achieved with quality and excellence. Specific responsibilities include gross (wet trimming) of surgical pathology specimens to include mucosal biopsies, skin and skin tumors, nasal biopsies, and larger specimens; maintain inventory and organization/cleanliness of the laboratory and post room; organization and filing of wet tissues, paraffin blocks, slides and requisition forms; log specimens into lab system as needed.
