Current Job Opportunity Summary:

The position will manage the Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® program as part of the services provided to the Energy Trust of Oregon Home Energy Solutions Program. This includes supervision of staff assigned to the program, which focuses on improving the energy efficiency in existing single family homes using progressive diagnostic techniques and treatments.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed the goals and metrics of the Home Energy Performance Programs as contractually directed by Energy Trust of Oregon
  • Build strong and competent contractor networks through recruitment, technical training, and ongoing support
  • Plan and direct program activities and manage program growth. Refine program designs and guidelines to optimize cost-effectiveness
  • Maintain budgets, develop forecasts, and stay within the parameters of the budget
  • Oversee staff and contractor field processes and procedures. Supervise field manager, who oversees account managers supporting Program contractors in conducting assessments, developing work scopes, and performing energy improvements in consumers' homes
  • Monitor staff to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide needed services and complete deliverables on time while staying within budget
  • Determine staffing requirements and oversee interviewing, hiring, and training new Program employees
  • Provide excellent client service though on-time and accurate completion of tasks
  • Develop and produce monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc reports as required and requested by Energy Trust and CSG management
  • Propose corrective actions to ensure timely and effective implementation of the various aspects of the Program
  • Other tasks and projects as assigned by CSG management

  • 3-5 years experience in managing energy efficiency programs
  • Oregon/Pacific Northwest energy efficiency and contractor infrastructure experience and knowledge
  • Residential energy efficiency technical, program, and financial expertise including familiarity with efficiency technologies, building codes, building science, and marketing energy efficiency solutions to trade allies and consumers
  • Ability to motivate staff to achieve production goals
  • Experience in developing and maintaining client relations
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to build effective teams
  • Excellent and well developed managerial, interpersonal, reporting, and communication skills
  • Experience with technical modeling software, such as HomeCheck, REMRATE, TREAT, or CheckMe! a plus

Salary Range:  Commensurate with experience
