Hospital Business Office Representative

MCS has  an opening available within the business offices of hospitals located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The individual will report to the Regional Project Manager & communicate with our corporate office appeals staff on a daily basis.

Candidates must be dependable, punctual, and highly motivated to ensure client satisfaction and successful achievement of productivity & finanical recovery/collection goals.

Candidates must have knowledge of managed care contracts and concepts, one or more years knowledge of hospital appeals & collections of denied and underpaid hospital claims.

The ideal individuals will have effective verbal and written communications skills, research skills, experience with major insurance carriers and plans, excellent client and customer service.

Candidates must be able to read and interpret an EOB, Remittance Advice, UB92, UB 04, HCFA 1500 data elements, third party payment. Computer Skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Access, Excel, Power Point).
