This acute care, community hospital, located approximately 1 hour south of Charleston, WV, is focused on patient care and customer service. The Clinical Staff Pharmacist /Assistant Manager will provide Pharmaceutical Care to achieve improved outcomes and quality of life for patients of all ages. The Pharmacist will report to the Director of Pharmacy. The Assistant Manager/ Pharmacist must be able to interpret medication orders and review them for safety and effectiveness. The Pharmacist will dispense medication according to state and federal law and accepted standards of care and make rounds to patient area to ensure the quality of patient care. The Pharmacist will assist the Director in managing the department and must be able to communicate and interact with professional and non-professional staff. A Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of Pharmacy is required. The hospital offers excellent benefits, salary, and relocation.
