Establishes and maintains client relationships with current hotel partners. Sells and manages all advertising opportunities in THOR Publications to hotel chains. Develops strategies to grow and strengthen the Worldwide Hotel Program. Develop processes and procedures for annual contract renewals. Distributes marketing plans for multi-national accounts and promotes the program on a global level. Handles all new hotel supplier inquires as well as proactively solicits targeted prospects to help grow the Worldwide Hotel Program for THOR member agencies. SECTION II: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS |
Essential Job Functions | Average Percent Time (per month) | 1. | Sells up front marketing opportunities via THOR publications to large and/or centrally-billed hotel chains. Collects ads for weekly, monthly and annual opportunities and forwards to production designer. | 35% | 2. | Provides account management to said hotel chains. Answers questions for clients, attends relevant events, tradeshows, annual conferences and conducts client visits, meetings and sales calls as needed. | 35% | 3. | Develops strategies to strengthen the hotel program, increase revenues and improve the customer value via obtaining new content from new hotel suppliers worldwide. | 10% | 4. | Works with Marketing Manager to develop promotional campaigns and collateral. | 5% | 5. | Tracks all chain marketing revenues; advertising, Pay for Performance and Listing Fees and provides monthly sales summary reports to Managing Director and adjusts actions based on results and trends. | 10% | 6. | Serves as primary hotel chain contact among THOR team and performs all duties relating to the program as identified. | 5% |
