The ideal applicant will be enthusiastic about applying his or her leadership and management skills in the day-to-day operations of a successful F&B operation, providing continuity in the providing of top quality, award-wining dishes for a busy, high-end boutique operation. Reports to on-site managing director and general manager.
This is definitively a hands-on position that involves line-work, collaborative menu design, recipe execution, food and labour cost management, special event planning and ongoing training and supervising and working closely with kitchen personnel on a daily basis. The goal is to maintain and improve existing standards and to take the operation to the next level, both in areas of guest satisfaction and international recognition.
