House Manager
About the Job
Shorehaven Inc. is currently seeking a self motivated, caring individual to fill a position as House Manager in a group home setting working with individuals with intellectual disabilities. This position will supervise staff and a minimum of five individuals with intellectual disabilities. Other responsibilities: day to day running of the home including completing paper work requirements, ADL skills, programming, providing community based and in house activities, grocery shopping, and providing a safe and nurturing environment. Must be able to successfully complete requirements for and maintain medication certification through the Maryland Board of Nursing. Schedule rotates 7 days on and 7 days off. Minimum qualifications: Must be at least 21 years old, high school diploma or equivalent (College degree preferred in the field of human services or 1 year supervisory experience), and a valid drivers license. Prefer candidate have experience working with people with intellectual disabilities.
