Job Description

Housing Privatization Project Manager

Key Role:
Serve as the project manager for the Military housing privatization initiative at Eielson AFB, AK. Maintain responsibility for supporting the housing asset manager, base civil engineer, installation leadership, the Headquarters Pacific Air Forces Command (HQ PACAF), and the Air Force Center for Engineering and the Environment (AFCEE) with housing privatization project management expertise. Assist with identifying, executing, and tracking the status of base-level housing privatization tasks. Advise the asset manager and other stakeholders on transaction documents and the privatization developer's compliance with transaction terms. Assist with gathering and reviewing design plans and other project documents and provide coordinated technical feedback. Assist with tracking and communicating the project status to a broad spectrum of stakeholders and make recommendations and advise government representatives on construction-related issues. Provide logistical support for project meetings.

Basic Qualifications:
-1+ years of experience with Air Force civil engineering, Military family housing management, residential property management, and facility maintenance
-Experience with Microsoft Office
-Knowledge of Military construction processes
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree
 
Additional Qualifications:
-Knowledge of Microsoft Project
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-BA or BS degree in a related engineering field
