- Recruits, screens, interviews and may extend job offers
- Assists in selection process to fill exempt and non-exempt positions
- Effectively communicates HR policies, procedures and compliance issues
- Is a resource for local management in investigations, hearings and new hire orientation
- Provides training as needed
- Runs routine HR reports
- Responds to employee relations issues (complaints and violations)
- Provides exit interviews when necessary
- Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations
- Performs benefits administration during new hire process and open enrollment periods
- Provides ongoing input, HR intranet and policies and procedures as necessary
Credentials and Qualifications will include
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Business, HR or Organizational Development
- Minimum 2 years related work experience
- Ability to communicate effectively before groups of employees of the organization at all levels
- Ability to apply a common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral and diagram form
- Ability to exercise good judgment in making disciplinary and termination decisions
- Knowledge of spreadsheets, payroll systems, internet, and human resource software
- Heavy recruiting background in a sales organization is desired
- Knowledge of all Nevada labor laws and ADP payroll systems a plus
