About the Job
HRM for 570 FTE and 50 PTE Co-ops in
civil service system. Manages work
of 7 staff. Oversees hiring,
promotion, selection and sourcing of personnel under 3 union labor agreements,
civil service rules, and practices.
Maintains files and records, personnel actions, grievance hearings and
records. Coordinates labor
management committee of AFSCME.
Supervises FMLA, disability and ADA processes. Liaison to City HRD and local planning council on rules
& practices. Requires active
management experience in HR with HR college degree preferred, working
experience with regulatory system of civil service process, plus applicable
Federal laws. Must be willing to
reside in city.
