A Dallas – Fort Worth manufacturing facility is seeking a professional and experienced human resources manager. This position is in a unionized facility and needs a manager who can provide leadership and guidance in the day-to-day management of human resources activities to maintain and improve the plant operations. Candidate will be responsible for:
1. Providing human resources management and policy administration for hourly and salaried employees
2. Management and oversight of labor relations activities in a union environment.
3. Performance management activities with plant salaried employees
4. Promote employee relations activities
5. Oversee the health and safety program
6. Ensure legal compliance
7. Meet corporate and government reporting requirements
8. Perform investigations, represent company in grievance process and work toward complaint resolutions
9. Oversee benefit administration
Candidates are required to possess the following:
1. Bachelor’s degree required
2. Five years minimum human resources management experience
3. Strong labor experience
4. Ability to read and interpret union contracts, legal documents, compliance documents and standard operating procedures.
5. Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws as well as EEO and Affirmative Action
6. Experience working with unions and manufacturing
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and HRIS systems.
8. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
