Human Resources Manager

                                            This Position Requires Relocation to Alabama

Typical Duties:

To develop and maintain an employee relations climate that creates and permits a stable and productive workforce.  To manage and coordinate all functions of employee relations, including employment, employee relations, compensation and benefit service, manpower planning, and training and development, performance management and affirmative action planning, and develop and maintain positive relationships within the community.  Helps support promoting and maintaining a positive image of Company within the community.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and minimum 10 years experience in Human Resources and minimum of 5 years experience in a Human Resources Manager role.  An understanding of people and their problems and a sense of fairness and consistency. Strong communication skills in writing, speaking, and in training presentation. Good organizational skills.  Familiarity with applicable state and federal regulations.  Personal leadership skills. Practical human resources experience at the plant level of a manufacturing company.

MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS NO EXCEPTIONS:

Must have experience working in a hazardous volatile facility such as Chemical Plant, Pulp & Paper Plant, Ammunition Plant. Any area where dangerous chemicals or toxic gases are used. Most manufacturing settings will not be considered.

Must have experience working in an environment where they utilize 12 hour rotating shifts.

Must have experience working in a 24/7 operation.

Must have either PHR or SPHR Certification.

Must have a minimum of 10 years in HR and 5 of those years must be in managerial role.
