The Human Resources Generalist supports the Corporate Human Resources Manager in partnering with business areas to ensure a complete understanding of business needs and objectives, while providing support to resolve HR-related issues.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Support Corporate Human Resources Manager in leading and executing HR initiatives to all business areas (ex: performance development, process improvements, policy updates, etc).
• Responsible for generating HRIS Reports to analyze and audit data; identify trends and make recommendations on HR programs.
• Keep up to date with employment law updates and regulations and ensure SNC compliance by recommending program and process improvements.
• Provide HR data to other departments such as finance, corporate directors, and program managers as needed.
• Conduct Employee Relations/Investigations.
• Partner with HR team in executing Employee Events, rewards and recognition programs, and other employee-related activities.
• Conduct Enterprise-level HRIS Administration.
• Provide leave of absence administration, including FMLA and company short term disability, as defined in SNC policies and in accordance to state/federal regulated guidelines.
• Support HR staff and perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelors (BA/BS) Degree from an accredited university.
• 5+ years of directly applicable, progressively responsible experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of current HR-related laws/regulations.
• Excellent computer skills, to include MS Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational/communication skills.
• PHR/SPHR Certification Preferred.
