As a Compensation Manager you will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing the pay and rewards infrastructure and policies within RGH. This will include supporting the VP HR and working directly with senior management to lead all compensation initiatives. This position also drives organization structure initiatives and implements specific rewards strategies to achieve organizational objectives aligned with business needs. This includes salary and bonus planning, along with other variable pay and recognition initiatives.
· Manages development and application of fundamental compensation techniques (job analysis, job descriptions, evaluations, grading and pricing) in order to determine and convert relative job worth into monetary values for pay-scale guidelines and policy
· Designs and implements compensation programs, including incentive and executive compensation
· Analyzes current organizational job requirements and related data to develop and manage a job hierarchy inclusive of job descriptions and potential career paths
· Leads market survey process and analyzes competitor salary rates and benefit packages to ensure competitiveness of RGH pay relative to the external market, and recommends compensation adjustments according to findings, utilizing knowledge of prevailing rates, types of incentives systems and other compensation programs
· Implements organization salary structures, balancing cost control with the need to attract and retain staff
· Evaluates organization pay structures and performs analysis on collected wage data to ensure equity and fairness and drive a pay for performance culture
· Utilizes occupational data to evaluate and recommend improvements to methods and techniques for recruiting, selecting, promoting, evaluating and rewarding employees
· Analyzes company compensation policies, government regulations concerning payment of minimum wages and overtime pay to comply with legal requirements
· Audits and recommends changes to salary structures and position classifications
· Reviews salary adjustments and bonus programs for conformance to policy
· Manages complex quantitative and qualitative financial and workforce data
· Position frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods
· Works on complex problems/projects where analysis of situations or data require an in depth evaluation of multiple factors
Knowledge and Skills Required:
· Demonstrated experience developing organization infrastructure/job models, driving salary benchmarking (including market surveys), developing compensation plans, and influencing business managers.
· Experience partnering with managers to deliver HR solutions is required
· Excellent written and verbal skills.
