This HR Generalist position provides you with the opportunity to get onto the shop floor and to be involved with every aspect of Human Resources: from employee relations to policy recommendations, from discipline to safety, from training to compensation, from continuous improvement to employment, from investigations to communicating/counseling with the employees and management.

You will work with superintendents, managers, supervisors and hourly employees.  You will develop and facilitate training.  And you will have hire candidates and make a difference on attendance, turnover and safety.

In summary: you will have an impact.

What do you need to have this chance to grow your career?

·         Bachelor’s degree; if it’s in HR or Business, it’s a plus

·         3+ years’ HR experience

·         Knowledge of state and federal laws, including OSHA

·         Ability to influence others

·         A sense of urgency.  The company wants to hire the right person immediately.
