HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST

We are expanding our staff and seeking an outgoing, energetic, business-oriented HR Generalist with strong customer skills and hands-on HR experience in employee relations, compensation, HRIS, training, and legal compliance. In this role, you will provide a full-range of HR support to managers and employees while working in a friendly team environment in our new Chantilly, VA headquarters.
REQUIRES an experienced HR professional with a proven track record in a wide variety of HR functions including employee relations, training, HRIS, compensation, benefits, employment, policies and procedures. Particular emphasis with employee relations, legal compliance, training, and compensation (including variable pay) is required as well as experience with groups in multiple locations!
Qualified candidates will possess 5+ years’ exempt-level HR experience; broad knowledge of HR; bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience); expertise with relevant federal and state laws; exceptional oral, written, and presentation skills; strong computer proficiency; and accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks, particularly written documents.
Must possess outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to establish positive relationships with employees and managers at all levels; outstanding listening skills; be flexible and self-motivated; have the ability to solve complex operational problems and recommend solutions; be able to deal with time sensitive issues in an effective manner and juggle multiple priorities; possess high ethical standards; and have excellent dedication to internal customer service in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Some travel required. PHR certification is a plus!
