Human Resources Generalist – LOA, W/C, & ADA


 


CCS Medical is a leading, national healthcare company that has been serving healthcare professionals and their patients since 1990.  We are dedicated to providing caring, compassionate, reliable, and cost effective home health services to our valued customers to treat their chronic medical conditions and improve their quality of life.  We are currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist for our corporate office in Clearwater, Fl.



 


CCS Medical’s Human Resources Generalist position will be responsible for the coordination, facilitation, and management of leaves of absence, Worker’s Compensation claims, and ADA requests for all locations of the organization.  This position will work as a liaison with all on-site HR representatives and will assume responsibility for responding to all requests for information, performing ongoing correspondence and communication in responding and finalizing all requests, and in acting as a liaison between the employee, employer, and treating medical providers in evaluating and recommending decisions pertaining to the management of such requests in cooperation with the HR Leadership. 


 


Candidates must have a thorough knowledge of and the ability to apply state and federal laws and regulations for eligibility determination and response to these requests and programs and understand how these programs inter-relate, while ensuring for compliance and adherence with company policies.  Excellent communication skills and MS Office experience is required; prior experience with a HRIS system is desirable. 


 


Essential skills include a superior ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing, ability to positively overcome and manage conflict, ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities, and attention to timeliness and detail.  Analytical skills accompanied by the knowledge and ability to research and review case law and apply such information to the performance of this role are essential.  A Bachelor’s degree preferred, with a minimum of 3--5 years of FMLA, Military Leave, state leave law, Worker’s Compensation administration, and ADA administration experience; knowledge of disability plans is preferred.
