Position Summary: |
|
Administer the company’s human resource policies and programs covering employment, wage and salary administration, management development, training, recruiting, and benefits. |
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Source, screen, and interview candidates for open positions. |
|
· Administer the hiring process to include employment selection process. Ensures completion of required pre-employment testing and new hire paperwork. |
|
· Work with divisional and department leaders to proactively establish staffing targets and strategy. |
|
· Ensure compliance with AA/EEO regulations and rules relative to hiring. |
|
· Conduct new hire orientation. |
|
· Administer company benefits programs to include; 401(k), medical/dental, short-term disability, long-term disability, Flexible Spending (Section 125). |
|
· Disseminate training information to department heads to assist them in meeting training goals; along with preparing and presenting training as requested. |
|
· Act as lead in the assembling materials for grievance hearings, arbitration’s, unemployment hearings, Personnel Commission Complaints, lawsuits and ULP complaints. |
|
· Conduct associate disciplinary investigations in accordance with rules and policies. |
|
· Monitor performance appraisal process and ensures completion compliance. |
|
· Maintenance of Personnel Records, HIPAA, and record retention compliance. |
|

Job Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent |
· 3+ years human resources generalist experience including benefits administration, recruiting/staffing, EEO regulations, employment law, and employee relations. · Knowledge of federal and state employment law. · Computer skills including MS Office and experience using ATS. · Experience working independently. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Criteria:
· 5+ years human resources generalist experience. · Experience supporting multiple locations. |
