Primary Purpose of Position:
This position is responsible for human resources related responsibilities and projects. This position reports to the Human Resources Manager.

Major Duties and Responsibilities of Position:
-Place temporary employee orders with agencies and update weekly report with current information.
-Recruit for non-exempt and certain entry level staff positions, including posting approved positions, tracking and phone screening applicants, coordinating interviews with hiring manager, conducting references and background checks; obtaining approval for job offers, preparation of offer letters and extending job offers as assigned.
-Conduct new hire orientations on a weekly basis; prepare new hire paperwork for Payroll Department and personnel file.
-Prepare Focal Point/Merit Increase Excel worksheets and process status changes for salary changes.
-Process employment verifications for current/past employees.
-Ensure that offices throughout North America have updated employment posters.
-Report terminations to third party vendor for unemployment claim tracking.
-Report and follow-up on workers' compensation claims.
-Partner with outside legal counsel for processing of immigration applications to transfer employees and re-process employees to maintain valid work authorization.
-Partner with HR Manager to schedule special events.
-Process terminations and conduct exit interviews as needed.
-Field employee inquiries and follow-up in a timely/efficient manner to ensure questions/issues are resolved and/or routed appropriately.
-Run reports on ADP Reportsmith as requested.
-Additional duties as assigned which may involve occasional over night travel within the United States.

Annual responsibilities include preparation and submission of EEO, Veteran, and EEO reports.

Quarterly responsibilities include metric reporting updates, preparation/submission of employee anniversary reports; conducting new hire follow-up meetings.

Monthly responsibilities include providing information about terminations for SOX compliance; creating Excel spreadsheets for processing of monthly commuter incentives.

Experience, knowledge and skill requirements:
-Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant Human Resources experience required.
-Full-cycle recruitment experience required.
-Experience in analyzing data and numerical reports strongly desired.
-Experience in a corporate business environment preferred.
-Strong PC skills (Excel/PowerPoint/Word) required.

Physical abilities:
Ability to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time; ability to answer phones, and utilize a variety of office equipment. Ability to lift minimum 15 lbs. and reach overhead.

Education:
-Bachelor's Degree required (preferably in a business-related discipline).
-HR Certification a plus.
