This history of exceeding customer expectations has lead to significant Company growth and numerous employment opportunities.  One such opportunity is at our Warner Robins, GA office.  We seek a Human Resource Generalist to serve as the primary point of contact (POC) for all HR needs within a given employee population.


 


This position also performs certain administrative functions in support of the ongoing operations of a given site/office and performs other duties as required and/or assigned.


 


Primary Job Responsibilities include:


·         In full coordination with the HR Manager, act as the single POC for all HR matters within the assigned employee population.


·         In full coordination with the HR Manager, act as the single POC for all recruitment, employee relations, benefits, compensation, training, Company policy, employee performance issues, or other HR related topic within the assigned employee population.


·         Communicate actively with the Company’s group benefits providers, the broker, third party administrators, and employees to ensure that all new enrollments, in service changes, and terminations are properly captured in a timely manner.   


·         Serve as the primary liaison between the rest of HR and the assigned employee population. 


·         Keep a “finger on the pulse” of the assigned employee population through regular and close contact, building close relationships with employees and managers and keeping the rest of HR informed as to issues of any significance.  


·         Properly maintaining electronic and paper personnel records and employee actions in accordance with local, state, and federal laws, as well as with Company standards.


·         Manage all aspects of incoming, in service changes, and outgoing employees insuring full and complete coordination of all necessary activities with other personnel and/or departments


·         Receive, research, and respond to all manner of HR related employee questions/concerns/inquiries in a timely manner with the goal of successfully handling 95% at the local level and escalating the remaining 5% to the HR Manager for assistance.  


·         In coordination with the HR Manager, insure full compliance with local, state, and federal laws by assuming responsibility for familiarity with and compliance with the laws that apply to the assigned employee population and the their work locations.


·         Perform other duties as assigned.


Essential Skills and Experience:


 


·         3-6 years experience and BS in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


·         Ability to multi-task and maintain confidentiality is a must.


·         Intermediate to advanced computer skills a must.


·         Strong oral and written communication skills.


·         Strong customer service skills and experience have an outgoing and energetic personality, great organizational skills, and friendly phone manner.


·         Must have experience with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.


·         Secret security clearance or the ability to attain same desired.


·         Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
