Human Resources Manager
FACTOR, a highly successful 30 year-old software company serving the petroleum marketing and convenience store industry, is seeking a highly motivated and capable Manager of Human Resources. The ideal candidate will possess a sound understanding of the overall HR function and be willing to roll up their sleeves and do what is necessary to establish a successful new HR department.
Main Responsibilities:
o Overall responsibility for establishing and managing a new HR function
o Define and continually improve core processes
o Ability to juggle multiple high priority projects at once
o Support hiring, training and personnel performance objectives
o Assist with programs to motivate staff and maintain high levels of job satisfaction and morale
o Self-starter, able to figure things our on your own
Requirements:
o 10 plus years of leadership experience in a Human Resources department
o 4 year undergraduate degree
o Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
o Thorough understanding of US labor laws and related requirements
o Excellent understanding of employee benefit plans (medical and 401(k))
o Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full time basis for any employer
